The
Dallapiccolla/Shaw LP was the last release in the Gulbenkian Foundation's
Music Today series. In 1975-76 Drew was closely but not administratively
involved with Deutsche Gramophon's 3-disc album of music by Kurt Weill,
recorded by The London Sinfonietta under David Atherton immediately after their
Berlin Festival concerts in September 1975. There then ensued a fifteen-year
gap before the release of the first of the CDs Drew planned for
Largo.

The York Höller CD 'Signals' was the last
Largo release newly recorded and produced while Drew was still active as
Artistic Director. There was however a coda in the form of three earlier CDs,
repackaged and revised especially for their release in the USA during the first
and second quarters of 1998.
